ABOUT OUR CLIENT 

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of quality, engineered building supplies for the commercial construction sector. As a part of their vision for continued growth, they are seeking a diligent and friendly Customer Service Coordinator

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for taking in calls from customers and clients, coordinating and scheduling technicians, liaising with colleagues regarding maintenance contracts and project works, as well as providing over the phone customer service and responding to emails.

DUTIES
  • Provide exceptional and consistent service to the company's customers and internal stakeholders;
  • Manage customer requests for servicing, breakdowns and scheduled maintenance works;
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of all the company's products and services and promote the benefits to the customer and the business; 
  • Prioritise customer requests and allocate resources appropriately;
  • Provide regular and timely updates to customers on the status of Technicians attending to their request;
  • Coordinating scheduled preventative servicing and maintenance; 
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
  • Experience in a customer focused, scheduling or coordination role;
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and excellent problem solving skills;
  • Professional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and technicians;
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to self motivate;
  • Experience using simPRO is highly regarded.

About the role

  • Act as a key contact for customers
  • Receive inbound and make outbound phone calls
  • Proactively inform customers on their shipments 
  • Accept and process orders for handover to the operations team
  • Handle customer enquiries/complaints
  • Organise and coordinate freight movements
  • Communicate with current and future suppliers in a professional manner
  • Act as the go-to person for the sales and operations teams
