Our client is an award winning, and industry leading pool installer who also offer pool maintenance, equipment, and servicing. Specialising in outstanding customer service, they offer a diverse range of products and services to their valued client base including fiberglass and concrete pools, plunge pools and renovations, as well as in-house and on-site servicing and maintenance. 

About the role:
Due to growth within the business, our client is seeking an experienced, proactive and outgoing Customer Service/Sales Assistant to work in their busy showroom.

Duties and responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:

  • Providing exceptional customer service; both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Stock control and ensuring the store is in a neat and presentable manner.
  • Taking down customer information and queries for quotes and servicing needs.
  • Water testing and analysis, with training provided.
  • Sales of pool equipment, parts, and chemicals.
  • Compiling administration packs for construction of pools and the handovers.
  • During the winter months you will be required to shift your focus to administration duties.

About You:

The successful person will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a wide range of clientele.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, customer service environment.
  • Good computer skills, with an understanding of Word, Excel and Gmail.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize when stock on the floor needs to be replenished and ordered.
  • Willingness to undertake a variety of roles from customer service to sales, and administration duties during off-peak seasons.
  • Knowledge of pumps, chlorinators, pool plumbing, and water balancing is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
  • Carry out stock take and clean the shop front as required.
  • Be willing to lift/ carry store items of up to 20kg.

You will be required to work Saturday mornings from 9am -1pm with the option of having a shorter day during the week.

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for taking in calls from customers and clients, coordinating and scheduling technicians, liaising with colleagues regarding maintenance contracts and project works, as well as providing over the phone customer service and responding to emails.

DUTIES
  • Provide exceptional and consistent service to the company's customers and internal stakeholders;
  • Manage customer requests for servicing, breakdowns and scheduled maintenance works;
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of all the company's products and services and promote the benefits to the customer and the business; 
  • Prioritise customer requests and allocate resources appropriately;
  • Provide regular and timely updates to customers on the status of Technicians attending to their request;
  • Coordinating scheduled preventative servicing and maintenance; 
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
  • Experience in a customer focused, scheduling or coordination role;
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and excellent problem solving skills;
  • Professional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and technicians;
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to self motivate;
  • Experience using simPRO is highly regarded.

About the Role

The role is primarily focused on handling inbound and outbound calls with potential participants who are interested in participating in clinical studies. Assist participants in booking in for an eligible study by conducting phone screening questionnaires based on the clinical studies' requirements. To be successful in this role you'll need to demonstrate outstanding relationship building skills and proven attention to detail.

  • Work on a rotating roster across 7 days
