About the role:

The Customer Engagement Officer is the first point of contact for our members, potential members, other organisations and the public. Our officers are also accountable for assisting in all activities pertaining to the Customer Engagement team including campaigns, communications, reporting and associated projects. Through inbound and outbound calls, email and Live Chat you will be part of a team driven to provide the best in customer service.

Your contributions to our team will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing an exceptional customer experience and deliver as per the service KPI’s.
  • Using active listening skills and appropriate questioning to ascertain customer needs and identify opportunities to deliver value add services.
  • Following appropriate Operating Procedures for consistency in delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Where required, follow-up all customer enquiries to ensure customer satisfaction and first call resolution.
  • Handling customer complaints in a professional manner according to EA's complaints escalation processes.
  • Working collaboratively with other Customer Engagement Officers and broader EA teams.
  • Accountable for achieving member growth, member retention and campaign targets and KPI’s.

At times, front of house duties such as:

  • Greeting all guests including contractors, notifying applicable staff of the arrival of their guest via phone/email
  • Receive and signing for mail via courier, notify applicable staff via email for collection
  • Ensuring all visitors entering the building sign the visitors’ book
  • And more.

We have a Full Time position available, Monday - Friday and the role entails Telephony sales and customer service, working in our Woden office.

  • Meeting training and compliance requirements

As a Lending Solutions Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying sales opportunities and providing a high-level of customer service
  • Managing Mortgage, Car and Personal Loan applications, from point of origin through to document preparation by having needs-based conversations regarding their lending requirements
  • Undertaking pro-active retention-based activities for existing borrowers
  • Managing all general lending enquiries for new and existing borrowers, and providing sound advice and information
  • Deepening the relationship with new and existing customers through having needs-based conversations to understand their current and future needs across all banking products and services, providing individual solutions and through this, change lives
  • Contributing to a successful team environment 

About you:

  • An outstanding record of customer service and sales, having well developed relationship management skills to create value for new and existing customers
  • Experience in managing Home, Car and Personal Loan enquiries and applications directly with our new and existing customers is essential
  • The ability to review straight-forward balance sheets and profit and loss statements to support loan applications for assessment
  • The ability to have genuine, needs-based conversations with customers to uncover and fulfil their stated and future needs across all banking products and services
  • Be results driven with strong problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills and a positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Sound planning and organising ability
  • The ability to work extended hours to meet the business needs of our dynamic and customer centric environment
